They make you feel like you are part of the family. Owners talk to everyone and welcome you. Staff is amazing and polite. The food and drinks are delicious. We came for only dessert one day and then came back the next day for dinner.

Donna Clelia Sea Bar and Restaurant is an absolute gem on the Amalfi Coast, delicately nestled between the dramatic rocks just off the coast of Italy, perfectly positioned between Positano and the charming village of Furore, and only a short distance from Amalfi. The location is breathtaking-imagine arriving by boat or strolling down to a secluded cove where the sea sparkles and the cliffs rise majestically around you. It’s the kind of place that feels like a hidden paradise, away from the crowds but full of authentic Italian charm. What truly sets Donna Clelia apart is the exceptional hospitality. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with the warmest, friendliest service imaginable. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and their genuine kindness is unforgettable. Snacks and treats seem to arrive at your table non-stop, each one more delicious than the last, and the flow of food and good cheer never ends. It’s clear that the team here loves what they do, and their passion for sharing the best of local cuisine and hospitality shines through in every interaction. The menu is a celebration of the sea and the region, featuring incredibly fresh seafood, homemade pastas, and classic dishes prepared with care and creativity. Every bite is a reminder of the rich culinary traditions of the Amalfi Coast. Whether you’re enjoying a leisurely lunch with your feet in the sand or a romantic dinner as the sun sets, Donna Clelia offers an experience that is both relaxed and unforgettable. I can’t recommend this place enough-if you’re anywhere near Amalfi, make sure to visit. You’ll leave with a full heart, a happy stomach, and memories to last a lifetime!

This is the pick of the surprisingly plentiful options in this tiny location (about five restaurants here). I am a little reluctant to tell the world about Marina di Praia, and Bar Mare (Donna Clelia) and risk spoiling it - but I’ll let you in on a secret…this is the jewel of the Amalfi Coast - all the benefits without the crowds. From the first time we came to this restaurant (over 10 years ago) Salvatore made us feel like family. Crayfish his friend caught, beans and chillies from his father’s garden. His family and his staff eat in the restaurant (I’d actually like a job here !!!). The staff are wonderful and friendly. The food is original - a lot of dishes are Donna Clelia’s original recipes, including the amazing bread. The menu is not extensive, just good dishes made well. Love this place, love this restaurant and the people. Will be back every time we visit Italy. Ciao Salvatore, family and staff.

Decided to have lunch here. I disagree with people who claimed to be charged service fees. Our bill was correctly charged. Prices are high here. That is a given for this area. Everything is super expensive at this beach. I posted pictures of the menu, as the existing ones were out of date and priced wrong.

Went today in a large group of 11. The owner sat us and told us about the history of the restaurant. Most of the dishes are his late mother’s recipes. His father was a sweet old man sitting on the balcony above the restaurant - he came down to give out cookies to the young children eating at the restaurant. Instead of ordering, the owner sent out large, family style dishes - his favorite mother’s recipes. Everything was outstanding. Fried seafood platter was perfectly fried and well seasoned. Zucchini spaghetti was delicious with smoked mozzarella. And my favorite was the rigatoni with fresh caught squid (he showed us the picture of the squid caught that day). Definitely give Donna Clielo a try we are so happy we did! Very affordable prices. And let the owner curate your meal if he offers too! Especially if you are a large group!

We stopped here for an unplanned lunch when we disembarked at the marina on the way back from Positano. It was absolutely delightful! Such a pretty view overlooking the beach. The food and limoncello spritz was delicious and the service so friendly. At the end they gave us complimentary fruit salad, limoncello and meloncello! All unexpected but very lovely. It was so nice to spend some time here. Highly recommend.

We had dinner there on 18th September. A Thursday evening where the food and service were both of amazing quality. Authentic food from a true local that built the perfect cove of hotel / bar / restaurant offerings thst make so many people feel like they belong. There is more than food and drink on offer here, there is a mans heart and soul all on display. Giovanni does it well. You wikl not be disappointed.

We had a great night, dinner and drinks! The food was amazingly tasty, the negroni was spectacular! You might see many restaurants side by side, we tried them all, but this one was BY FAR the best one.
